A board game developed for teaching physics

Authors

Abstract

This work shows the description of the elaboration of a board game and its application in Physics classes, as well as it approaches a discussion of the report of the applicability and analysis of the educational product. The game was developed and applied in private and public schools in the state of Alagoas. The artifact involves some basic physics themes, such as electromagnetism, wave, thermodynamics, mechanics, history of physics and astronomy. The contents that were approached refer to a scientific knowledge of each area of Physics. For the creation of the educational product, it was prudent to use basic level theoretical foundations regarding the contents without a mathematical approach. This work aims to show that the board game developed for teaching Physics allowed the student to learn theoretical concepts of Physics while playing, as well as providing feedback to the teacher about concepts that were not well assimilated by the class.
