Profissionais da educação: conhecimento e uso de tecnologias educacionais e avaliação do jogo digital pantanal escolar
Abstract
In the information age, digital games have been gaining ground within the need to update teaching and learning processes. In this context, the objective was to verify the knowledge and use of technologies and digital educational games by Education professionals in teaching, as well as to evaluate a digital game for Basic Education, called Pantanal Escolar. The research was developed with 52 professionals from Basic Education Education and the data collected from a questionnaire subdivided into 4 sections: Professional data; Knowledge/use of digital technologies; Opinion on digital games; and Game Rating. Participants claimed to have mastered the use of digital technologies and applied it as a pedagogical tool. Still, they judged it to be an effective practice in the teaching and learning processes, although a small percentage use digital games frequently in their classes. In turn, the evaluation of the proposed digital educational game showed great potential for its use, with an average of more than 90% of positive responses in the questions to the participants.
