Abstract

This work had an investigative question of how a ludic didactic resource may contribute to the learning of the students from Elementary School, Last Years about Arthropods. In this way, the student’s previous knowledge about these animals, construction, and usage of a didactic game for knowledge acquisition and the learning analysis acquired about the arthropods. This work was made in the 8th grade of Elementary School. The methodology used was the three pedagogical moments: a questionnaire to investigate the students’ previous knowledge, a low-cost didactic card game to organize the knowledge, and another questionnaire to evaluate the knowledge application. The initial investigation demonstrated that the students had little previous knowledge about Philo. The didactic resource contributed to make easier the learning of the morphologic characteristics, importance, and representants of the Philo Arthropod. The analysis of the answers at the end of this work allowed conclude that the students liked the material and the usage of a ludic didactic recourse to the acquisition of new knowledge about Arthropods.
