This article presents the development and validation of the game Chemical Clues, which combines the case method and the playful method in the teaching of general chemistry. It is a board game involving the resolution of investigative cases, using information from the collected clue cards. Intended for high school courses, it allows the teacher to analyze the students' learning, resolve conceptual errors and introduce new concepts. Of a qualitative, descriptive nature and involving a case study, its development was carried out through bibliographic research in books and articles, and its validation included the participation of teachers, through a questionnaire analyzed by personal synthesis. The teachers indicated that the game meets the criteria of motivation/attention, relevance, confidence, skill/competence, immersion/challenge, competitiveness/social interaction and impact on learning/knowledge. They consider that it has clear rules and objectives, encompasses aspects that allow the student to develop abilities to search for information, communicate, solve problems, make decisions and work in teams, contributing to expanding knowledge about the chemical content covered, presenting good gameplay, being fun and suitable for the suggested audience.
