As Novas Formas De Afirmação Do Nacionalismo
Keywords:
Freedom, Nationalism and political coalitions.Abstract
After a period of contradictions caused by the presence of colonial regimes or other weakening forces, several countries begin to feel sufficiently mature and demand their emancipation, wanting at the same time to exalt their identity. This is where nationalist freedom movements arise, for countries under colonial and consolidation regimes, for countries considered free. While some sought to impose themselves over a force that stifled them, showing their intellectual and sociopolitical capacity with which they can guide their destinies, others continued to show that they are superior. In Africa, nationalist movements emerged from outside, brought to Africa by academics mostly trained in the diaspora and with experience of governance, as some had already assumed roles in the government machine, such as the case of Leopold Sedar Senghor (1906-2001), an African nationalist, Senegalese. He studied in France where he later served as French Secretary of State. Once independence has been achieved, the once united nationals show themselves incapable of satisfying the desires of their members, either due to the ambition of those governed or the selfishness of those in power. Dissatisfactions then arise that dictate a new way of identifying with national causes and the fervent desire to want to do things differently. At a political level, it is clear that the liberating parties are almost incapable of satisfying the people's desires, losing their popularity. And they look for new ways to survive by linking themselves to the little ones in the form of coalitions. This happens both in Africa and in Europe where new views on sociopolitical reality have proven to be more significant and can result in new political parties that attract masses
