The teaching of Biology is marked by the need for strategies consonant with the sociocultural reality of the student, in order to motivate them to participate in the teaching and learning processes. Anime and manga stand out for being audiovisual tools with pedagogical potential in the educational context. The work aimed to use the anime Hataraku Saibou as a didactic tool analyzing their contributions in the teaching and learning processes of themes involving the "Human Being and Health" axis in a playful and contextualized way. A didactic sequence was applied, involving exhibition of the anime and Creative Workshop of writing manga by students. Pre-test and post-test questionnaires were applied to evaluate learning and previous knowledge. It was found that the students were receptive to the use of such tools and had previous knowledge on the subject. Contributions from the anime Hataraku Saibou and the authorial manga productions to the learning of scientific concepts were evidenced, as well as the need to carry out new works that provide more substantial data about the use of these media in the classroom.
