Escape room pedagógico como uma estratégia de aprendizagem para o desenvolvimento das competências educacionais e desencadeamento do flow

This article is an experience report on the approach of Escape Room games in pedagogical formats and is the result of the master's thesis work “EscapeCie as a Game-Based Learning Strategy: from flow to the educational skills necessary for teaching science”. Its purpose was to verify the contributions of a Pedagogical Escape Room game in relation to the development of educational skills, such as Creativity, Communication, Collaboration and Critical Thinking, in addition to its possible influence to promote the triggering of flow. The qualitative research presented here is of the Pedagogical Intervention type and was carried out in a state school in Rio Negrinho/SC with students from the ninth grade of elementary school II. Data were analyzed using Bardin's Content Analysis. The results show that the game "EscapeCie" favored the development of 4C's skills and also demonstrated to contain motivational characteristics that can lead to engagement and trigger flow.
