Games in health for fundamental and high schools
a systematic review
Abstract
Brazilian schools can contribute with health information due to their nationwide coverage; didactic games, in turn, can stimulate student learning about this subject. Due to these motivations, a systematic literature review was conducted in the Capes Periodical Portal from 2015 to 2020 to answer how didactic games have contributed to active learning in health at the elementary and high school levels, weaving the current scenario for help in planning future actions. The theme is expanding on the national scene, having its main audience the final years of Elementary School and parasitic and infectious diseases as the theme, which still denotes a restricted view of the concept of health. There is a concentration of publications in the southeast of the country. There is also a predominance of board games, followed by digital games that have been gaining ground. Therefore, a greater diversity of approaches and methodologies is necessary.
