Game Over: absence of discussions about feminism and women in science in the field of games and in main Chemistry/Science teaching events

Authors

Abstract

An investigation was carried out about women in Science and/or feminisms as assertions in works and thematic axes of the main events in the area of Chemistry teaching in Brazil. Existing gaps in the discussions of feminisms and women is Science were evidenced, as well as research on games that cover these issues and female representations in decision-making positions of event coordination. The need for spaces in scientific events and activities is highlighted, so that these discussions take place explicitly, advancing in the field of play, understanding the potential of the game to leverage debates on gender equity and the visibility of women in Science.
