Ongoing Education and the Freirean Thematic Approach: Navigating Their Interconnections

2025-12-01

This issue marks a new phase for Espirales – Journal for Latin American and Caribbean Integration (ISSN 2594-9721), now adopting a continuous publication system. From this edition onward, accepted manuscripts will be published as soon as the editorial and layout processes are completed, ensuring greater speed in the dissemination of knowledge and enhancing the visibility of scientific output.

With the inclusion of sections dedicated to the publication of essays, reviews, and interviews, we aim to further contribute to the promotion of scientific knowledge in the region by embracing a wider diversity of formats and perspectives. This renewal expands the scope of Espirales while maintaining its central commitment: to foster critical reflections on the integration processes of Latin America and the Caribbean in their multiple dimensions – political, social, cultural, economic and epistemic.

We thus reaffirm our dedication to interdisciplinary, situated scholarship that is deeply engaged with the challenges and potential of Latin America and the Caribbean. We invite authors to review the new guidelines and submit their original manuscripts. Espirales continues to be a living space for dialogue and collective construction for regional integration.
