Una exposición para desmonumentalizar la memoria

Abstract

Desde el 31 de marzo al 4 de junio del presente año una de las salas del
Museo Histórico Nacional de Chile abrigó la muestra titulada Un país de tontos graves: humor gráfico y político en Chile. Esta exposición estuvo compuesta por más de 70 imágenes para contemplar, unas cuantas imágenes para manipular (y llevarse), material audiovisual y un espacio creativo para producir piezas efímeras de humor gráfico y compartirlas en redes sociales. A partir de todos esos elementos, la exhibición fue trazando una posible historia de Chile que contrasta con la historia política monumental, oficial y hegemónica que el museo narra a través de las distintas salas de su exposición permanente. La exhibición de expresiones gráficas puede ser entendida como una muestra de quienes han buscado y buscan cuestionar los poderes establecidos a partir del humor.
