DEBATES ECONÓMICOS EN CUBA EN LA DÉCADA DE 1960: Ernesto “Che” Guevara y el Sistema Presupuestario de Financiamiento.

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se intenta dejar constancia de uno de los debates más álgidos que se presentaron en Cuba posteriormente al triunfo de la Revolución en 1959 y que tiene como eje a dos figuras centrales del momento en la escena política y económica de la isla: Ernesto “Che” Guevara y Carlos Rafael Rodríguez. Los ejes medulares del debate, particularmente en la década de 1960, bajo la influencia de la URSS, eran los métodos de dirección y gestión económica en la transición al socialismo, el rol de los estímulos materiales y morales, la vigencia de la ley del valor en el socialismo, entre otros. Se pretende hacer referencia a esta polémica a la luz de las nuevas realidades que se pres entan en la región latinoamericana y caribeña en general y en la sociedad cubana en particular, afectada por el Período Especial en la década de 1990 y desde tiempos recientes en el proceso de actualización del sistema económico cubano
