Abstract

Neste dossiê especial, a Revista Espirales lança uma edição extraordinária para cobrir a pandemia do coronavírus, seus efeitos na vida dos cidadãos, trabalhadores, os impactos na saúde pública e as respostas dos governos sul-americanos a esta crise, relativamente, inesperada.

 

O corpo editorial da Revista Espirales acredita ser de suma importância o debate deste tema em todas as esferas, inclusive a acadêmica, com especial atenção para Nuestra América, sendo a América do Sul um dos principais focos da doença atualmente. Ao mesmo tempo que a crise sanitária tem aprofundado as crises econômicas e políticas que vive a região pelo qual a sua análise se torna cada vez mais necessária.

Tal edição foi idealizada e organizada pela Profª Drª Renata Peixoto de Oliveira, Coordenadora do Programa de Pós-Graduação de Integração Contemporânea da América Latina (PPG-ICAL) e Coordenadora do Cespi-América do Sul.
