Este artigo propõe a discussão e o resgate de alguns aspectos históricos relacionados à a estratégia geopolítica da Liga de Los Pueblos Libres e suas implicações regionais, tomando em conta também seus aspectos sociais. Neste sentido, de forma incipiente, nos lançamos à recontar e analisar desde uma visão histórico-política a estratégia integracionista que se revela na práxis de Jośe Gervásio Artigas e seu bando.
