Entrelíneas de la Integración - Reviews

The Entrelíneas de la Integración section is a space dedicated to the dissemination and critical analysis of contemporary productions that dialogue with Latin America and the Caribbean, integration and/or South-South Dialogues. Reviews of works that contribute to the understanding of the challenges, trajectories, possibilities and specific themes of the region are published, covering academic, literary, artistic and cultural productions relevant to the Latin American and Caribbean academic and political scenario.

We believe that the production and promotion of knowledge is strengthened in the plurality of voices. Therefore, we do not require a doctoral degree for manuscript submission in this section, however at least a student bond or academic background is required. The objective is to expand a space for dialogue that brings together researchers, students and readers interested in topics relevant to Latin America and the Caribbean.

The objectives of the Entrelíneas de la Integración section are:

  1. Promoting critical reflection on recent works relevant to the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean: Encouraging reviews of works published within the last 3 years, which present the central ideas of the reviewed productions and bring analyzes about their relevance, limitations and/or contributions to contemporary debates on Latin America and the Caribbean, integration and/or South-South Dialogues.
  2. Expanding the circulation of strategic works on the integration of Latin America and the Caribbean: Disseminating reviews of academic books, literary works, dissertations and theses, cinematographic products, musical albums, artistic, cultural and/or museographic exhibitions that address topics relevant to regional integration and South-South dialogues.
  3. Ensuring the accessibility and democratization of the academic debate space: Allowing the submission of reviews by students and researchers from different academic levels, without requiring a doctoral degree, in order to encourage reflection and academic publication at all levels.

Contributing to the indexing and academic visibility of the review genre: Publishing reviews with title, abstract and keywords in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French, ensuring DOI for reviews and expanding the reach of these manuscripts on academic platforms and knowledge circulation networks.
