Abstract

Este artigo tem como principal objetivo compreender o contexto da criação da União das Nações SulAmericanas (UNASUL), seus desdobramentos, os principais desafios e as crises que vem enfrentando. Diantedisso, busca-se também explorar a atuação do Conselho Sul-Americano de Infraestrutura e Planejamento(COSIPLAN), dentro do qual está inserida a IIRSA, e do Conselho Sul-Americano de Desenvolvimento Social(CSDS). O primeiro escolhido por demonstrar o aspecto mais econômico da organização e o segundo porenfatizar seu lado político e social. Esta pesquisa é um estudo exploratório e será empregada a técnica depesquisa bibliográfica, recorrendo-se a livros, teses, dissertações, artigos e demais fontes secundárias. Ademais,serão utilizados documentos oficiais da UNASUL para investigar o tema proposto
