Open Data

Espirales is committed to ensuring and strengthening open science throughout its editorial process, in order to ensure that the scientific knowledge published in this journal is widely available to the academic community and the public. All publications are stored and made available, without restrictions, through its own digital repository, housed in UNILA’s Publications Institutional System. We also encourage the wide dissemination and unrestricted access of publications in any media, provided they are properly referenced. 

We also encouraged the dissemination of data, methods and any other shareable materials that were used in the preparation of the manuscripts. Yet, by accepting texts of different natures, Espirales recognizes that this principle is not always applicable. For the corresponding cases, the journal indicates that the authors follow the SciELO guidelines regarding the data used in the manuscripts, in order to promote the openness, transparency and reproducibility of their research. It also requests that the SciElo Research Data Citation Guide be followed.
