This article addresses the centrality of domestic and care work, historically viewed as "non-productive," but essential to the economy and the reproduction of life. In Brazil, there are 6.4 million domestic workers; 93.5% of them are women, the majority of whom are Black, poor, and with little education. A publicação do Programa de Pósgraduação em Integração Contemporânea da América Latina (PPGICAL) é de caráter científico e tem periodicidade semestral, buscando favorecer a publicação de textos frutos de pesquisas com uma visão crítica.

Os artigos devem estar de acordo às normas da ABNT, explicitadas nas diretrizes para autores.

Atenção: durante a submissão, em comentários ao editor, favor informar 1) nome completo, 2) filiação institucional, 3) ORCID e 4) CV Lattes (para brasileiros) ou similar (para estranjeiros).
